A report last year cited Sevenoaks as one of the happiest places to live because of its strong volunteer base.  At Sevenoaks CAB we are fortunate to have a team of 60 volunteers in a variety of roles but we still need more!

Volunteers find working in our team a stimulating, worthwhile and fascinating part of their lives.

We need volunteers:

our 'Monday' team

Some of the volunteers

If you would like to work with us as a volunteer, you can find all the details, including an online application form at http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/join-us. Alternatively you may contact the bureau at info@sevenoakscab.org.uk and we will be pleased to discuss what the work involves.

If selected, you will have the opportunity to receive free training to be an advice worker, support worker or member of the Management Committee. No special qualifications are required and we are keen that the volunteers are representative of the community.

We have an equal opportunities policy.

Would you like to join our "200" Club?

Many people are under the misapprehension that we are a government agency, whereas we are totally reliant on funding from grants and donations.   This year, in addition to the funding provided by Sevenoaks District Council, we aim to raise at least £20,000 in order to maintain our, confidential, independent and impartial service.

Valuable additional funds are provided by our "200" club.  The cost of joining is just £12 per year (only £1 a month).  This gives the opportunity to win one of two monthly prizes which together are equal to half of the monthly subscriptions. (The 1st prize = 30% of total subscriptions; 2nd prize = 20%. With 200 members these will be worth £60 and £40 respectively.)

Click here to see more details of the '200' club and an application form.
